Why this place will never see the light of day again

There is trouble in the forums
and all the members have fled
But what exactly was the cause
That made them all become dead

The answer lies within the past
Way back in the time of then
And only when we see the details
Can we learn where and when

It started one rainy day
When a bunch of spammers attacked
And when some major issues arose
It led us to shout "YOU HACKED"

As the situation grew worse
The members started to split
It wasn't long before they start to say
"F--- this stupid s---"

As we started to split apart
The forum sunk into the ground
Under all the deleted profiles
The fact was never to be found

The owners held a meeting
And decided it was best
It was time to kill the forums
And put it to peaceful rest

It was the fateful night
And all had shed a tear
They watched the rockets
Ruin it with a sear

It was after a while
And was soon to be revive
The bombs failed to break the spell
And kept the forums alive

However amiss all the crap
Remains nothing of use
And thus the forums again
Sank into tomato juice

We stand here on the top
Of these ancient ruins
Nothing can be done with what's left
Of a once proud union

These forums are dead, deny it so
They'll never resurface for sure
All we can do now
Is leave it alone and secure
