Hand-drawn Dragons by me (Update as of 12/27/08!)

Now yes... I know you saw in the title... "dragon" so you're like...

OMFG AVOID AVOID AVOID... MUST RUN... FROM TOPIC.

But you can't miss out on these!

Today we went to adopt a cat over in tampa. (We're on the east coast... not the west... XD) So a 2 and a 1/2 hour drive will be boring as hell.

I decided to do some drawing, and when I was done... I felt like showing you guys!

The poor quality is thanks to my scanner, and it is darkened because of me, and wouldn't show unless darkened.

The real thing looks much cleaner.

However, I got two pictures to show.



A standard western dragon. My favorite of all kinds. A simple side view but still looks pretty awesome.



My other kind of favorite dragon, 2 and 3 headed ones (And hydras as well) This one obviously took a little more time, considering a front view is harder.

You can KIND of see his tail but it got chopped up by the scanner so parts of it is faded away. Picture it with the tail though, but not a tiny tail. A big dragon needs a big tail to stay in proportion!

I drew something else but it was just a goof off lol... stick figure battles.. hoorah!

From a view of behind... this dragon is carefully guarding its terroitory from a cliff from above.

Yeah I know. It's a dragon... but oh wait... is there another one behind it? No. It's a twin-tailed dragon! :=D: :=D:

A dragon owner caring for his dragon. Hey... they need baths too.



Finally after all that feeding and caring... it pays off. Riding a dragon will be the best flight experience ever. Period

More update:



I've finally done a colored in one because so many people wanted me too! XD
It's a two-headed dragon, not 1 in front of the other, even though it so highly looks like it.

This one isn't my first "freeform" dragon but is my first with 0 referencing. :D

My scanner kinda separated the colors, because I used several pencils to make the shade of reds and yellows.
Hope this one is the most popular. :D

@Eh_Steve - I like the first drawing more because the view is easier to draw clean. The three headed one has amazingly better detailed heads, but the belly and legs are just so hard to draw "right" for something that probably weighs 6000 lbs. Especially from the front view >_>

I know. drawing large creatures is harder to do than draw... a bunny, for example.

Yes... and the front view is harder than a side. I just started the first head and I'm like...

Hey... I know what I can do with this....

Made a side view head, and a 3/4 view head (Like they're looking at something else) and felt like I needed something for these guys to stand on. But a 3 headed dragon is MUCH bigger and heavier than just a single headed one.

It eats for 3 you know! Thing probably weighes like.... 10,000 lbs...

Lol I can draw demons and monsters very well.... I can sprite them too, they are the main enemies in my game Evil Thirteen on the WIP page.
